KTA Moore Park Bike Skills Park Clean-up:
9:00-12:00pm, Moore Park Bike Skills Park Picnic Table

Weed wacking, raking and tread work in the Bike Skills Park.
Project Needs: 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring work gloves.
Wingwatchers Trail Maintenance:
9:00-11:00am, South Portal Building, 205 Riverside Drive

We will focus on Trail Maintenance including weeding around young saplings. We ask that people wear long pants, close-toed shoes and warm clothing. If they have gloves, that is helpful, but we will provide for those who do not have them. We provide all needed tools, but those who wish to help with weeding could bring their own weeding tools. This project is suitable for families and individuals able to walk, bend, weed, and work along an uneven trail walkway.
Project Needs: Weeding tools if the volunteer would like to bring their own, if so please label. Bring gloves, H2O and snack as well.
Caring Cards Project:

Share care and cheer by creating and gifting hand-made cards with uplifting notes. We will walk you through the process to create meaningful messages to touch the lives of our first responders. The papers and patterns are provided free of charge. It is not necessary, though it would be helpful if you can bring your own crafting glue (for cards/scrapbook). Bring your good will, cheerful smiles, and a friend to share with us as we make life a little better, one card at a time.
Project Needs: Crafting Glue and scissors.
Chiloquin Bike Park Clean up:

Get the Bike Park Cleaned up and ready for Spring Riding. Raking trails, stamping trails, trash collection and installation of a kiosk sign.
Project Needs: Bring your own gloves
Cultivate Community Garden:

Assist in moving soil, roaming the event helping where needed, and setting-up.

Linkville Cemetery Clean-up:

Volunteers will be weeding, leveling headstones, filling plots with wood chips, trimming/pruning removing dead plants, trees, branches, and garbage.
Project Needs: Please bring if you have pruning shears, work gloves, weed whackers with PPE, shovels and rakes.
The Historical Society will provide lunch at 11:30.
Creating Crochet Octopus Finger Puppets:
10:00-12Pm, Sky Lakes Medical Center Rivers Room

Crochet little octopus finger puppets for children at the hospital or visiting the hospital. Pattern is provided. If you don’t know how to crochet this is a good place to learn as well. Project Needs: Please bring size E or 3.5mm crochet needles and yarn.
IYS - Creating an outdoor space for children:
8:00-2:00pm, 465 Commercial St. Meet out front of residence.

Volunteers will clean up an outdoor space for children to enjoy. This will involve weeding/debris removal, soiling, seeding and building a children’s playground and gate.
Project Needs: Volunteers need to wear closed toed shoes, pants, and bring work gloves if they have them.
Long-sleeve T-shirt Drive:
9:00-11am & 11:00-1:00pm, KBBH Main Building 2210 N Eldorado Ave

The Hispanic Health Committee will be collecting long sleeve t-shirts for migrant farm workers.
Project Needs: Tell your network of community members to bring in long sleeve t-shirts.
Painting Chiloquin City Park Bathroom:

Volunteers will pain over the graffiti on the public bathroom in Chiloquin City Park
Project Needs: Please wear old clothes you don’t mind getting pain on.
Klamath Tribes Youth Council - Haglestein Clean-up:
10:00-12:00pm, Meet at the top of Haglestein
Volunteers will help the Klamath Tribes Youth Council clean-up the top of Haglestein by picking up garbage.
Project Needs: Bring heavy duty work gloves. It is also extremely encouraged to car pool as parking is limited and 4WD may be necessary.
Senior Center - fixing the stage:
Time TBD, meet at the Klamath Basin Senior Citizens’ Center 2045 Arthur St.
Volunteers will assist in stripping the stage and re-carpeting it.
Project Needs: Please come dressed in work clothes.
Klamath’s hidden gem trail on the Sprague River:
11:00am-4:30pm, NF 90 (FS2200-090) off Switchback road. From KFalls, take Hwy 97 N to Chiloquin, take Sprague River Road from downtown Chiloquin to approximately mile marker 11. Turn RIGHT onto Switchback road, follow approximately 1 mile to NF90 turn left. Arrows and signage will be visible.
NF 90 is an old railroad grade that follows the Sprague River for approximately 3 miles. Trial is relatively flat, and majority of the work is in clearing a section of brush that starts approximately 1.5 miles in. Also, raking out a nice tred for the trail.
Project Needs: Please bring loppers, saws, rakes and McLeods. Please wear work clothing: boots and pants, bring work gloves if you have them, brushing tools, rakes, etc. Meeting site is a great dry camping location, bring camping gear if you wish to stay overnight.
Tidy Towns Downtown Cleanup:
1:00-3:00pm, Klamath Commons park on 12th and Main St.

Clean up Main Street Downtown Klamath Falls. Activities will include picking up trash, dusting store fronts, getting rid of grass in the sidewalk cracks, washing windows, cleaning and preparing flower beds, and blowing off the sidewalks. All other supplies will be available - gloves, trash bags, squeegees, dusters, and window cleaner.
Project Needs: Bring a weed wacker/trimmer with extra string and or a leaf blower if you have one. Bring your own gloves. If you also have weed pullers, dusters, squeegees and shovels bring them as well.
